Meet gorgeous Keiko! He needs to come in to rescue due to his owners circumstances and no fault of his own.
He is a friendly, energetic pup who is full of life!
He adores meeting and playing with other dogs, he is fantastic with children and loves attention!
Like most young Huskies he does need some boundaries putting in place to teach him what he should and shouldn’t be doing, he is still going through the stage of mouthing – he will playfully mouth ears and hands so he will need working with on this. He doesn’t quite understand why he has to stop for roads on his walkies so again needs a little work with this! Keiko also needs a little help learning that human food isn’t for him, he will bark when his humans are eating and will try and steal food where he can.
Keiko socialises regularly with dogs of all sizes and is good with dogs large and small alike.
He loves nothing more than plenty of attention and a good tummy rub!
Keiko has some separation anxiety so this is something you will need to work with him on, often living with another dog helps this massively but sometimes it still needs extra work, the rescue will give full advice on how to do this. Keiko is left with toys and treats by his current owners and he will settle but has in the past as a younger pup destroyed a sofa when home alone.
If you can offer this gorgeous boy a home please apply for a home check!
